Ka Huna Hot Stone Massage
This massage supports the body to relax and rejuvenate with long flowing strokes that hold, stretch, wrap and nurture. Like the waves of an ocean, this traditional style Ka Huna gently massages and moves your whole body. You will be carefully draped in a sarong, with ambient music and nourishing coconut oil. This bodywork uses a combination of Ka Huna massage, hot stones and sound healing to deeply nourish your being.

Closing of the Bones
Deeply supportive for the nervous system, the body is wrapped in cloth. Traditionally used after giving birth to bring the mother back into herself both physically by closing the pelvis and energetically. This is offered to women who have been through traumatic experiences. It can support the rebirth, so it is offered to those who have come out the other side of the trauma and are looking to ceremonially enter the next phase of their life.
Note: this can be helpful also for any woman who has given birth and missed the opportunity for this closure postpartum.
3 hour session - $330

Half Day Retreat
A 3 hour massage journey followed by 2 hours of integration in nature. This can also be combined with the closing of the bones ritual. After the massage you will be guided into the bushland to a sit spot where you will be able to reflect and integrate using journaling or other forms of art. Nature holds a wisdom that we can often miss in our busy and distracted lives. This gives you the opportunity to settle in to her silence, integrate your massage journey and emerge grounded in belonging.
5 hours - $350
Kangaroo Ground
Nestled in a quite country side near the Yarra river, The Kangaroo Ground Centre is truly a retreat space. My practice room is aptly called the Bodhi leaf room (to the left of the photo) as it has been hand built by the family who own this property. With a stunning bodhi leaf designed roof and hand made mud bricks, this is a place to really feel connected to the Earth. This round room is a warm and cosy place to settle into the natural rhythms of your body to return home to your soul.

Monbulk
On the edge of bushlands this geodome feels like you are deep in the forest. With a vista of gum trees and tree ferns this land holds you and brings enchantment to your session. This location is ideal for the longer sessions and the half day retreat. Take your time, rest into place and feel the retreat and solitude of the forest.

Ka Huna Massage ~ an Ancient Healing Art
Ka Huna massage has come from the ancient culture of the Polynesian islands. It is a dance and a ceremony with movements that flow along the energetic lines of the body like waves. It also involves under-body work that cradles and gently massages. Other components of this bodywork include stretching, joint mobility and vibrational healing. It is believed to be such a transformational medium that on some of the islands it was used as a rite of passage.
All the complimentary massage modalities that I incorporate in the massage are based from traditional Hawaiian healing arts, making it a truly unique healing experience that honours the origin of this work.
We gather on ancient lands that hold an ancient culture and acknowledge the Custodians that have taken care of these lands for over 100,000 years. We pay our respect to all Indigenous and acknowledge this always has been and always will be Aboriginal land. Sovereignty has never been ceded. May we listen and learn from the oldest living culture in the world and walk together.
