About the event
Welcome home women,
You are invited to gather in circle, camping out under the stars, sharing around the fire, feeling our bare feet on the Earth and dancing. This is a place for you to come home to yourself in the gentle holding of nature and each other. In circle we are all equal, all holding each other, listening, sharing and reflecting, this is at the heart of what this weekend is all about.
The focus for our gathering will be on foraging, bush skills and weaving a basket. We will be starting with the gathering of the weaving fibres from the bush and doing a simple weave that allows for a very diverse range of firbes to be used, including invasive vines. We'll also be foraging bush tucker and edible weeds and using coals from the fire to cook up a feast. This is a slow space for you…
