About the event
This weekend offers an invitation to bring the rewilding and bush skills practice back to right relationship. As the first one for the year, we will focus on ways to care for country in the dry season. Collecting dead wood, learning what wood to leave for the animals, what wood to carve with and what wood to use for fire. We’ll also be covering fire safety, how to read the landscape and have a safe fire, respecting fire and respecting water as a way of survival. We’ll also learn a few ways to find and follow water sources and natural ways to filter water. With that will also come ways to look after our wildlife in the dry season.
The flow of the day
