Winter Solstice ~ fireside ritual

Winter solstice 

The longest night when the vail is thinest, we gather round the ancient fire to honour this life, our ancestors, country and custodians. With our song, our poetry and mythology we bring blessings and remember the ways of our ancestors, connecting and communing in community. 

I’ve been brewing medicinal plants and elixirs that will support the journey and we will end with a potluck dinner. I offer this free to my community, those who have supported and journeyed with me in my offerings and healings. It’s a private event, but friends and family are welcome. For healthy reciprocity I ask for nourishing meals and special treats to be brought for potluck for us to feast on as part of this longest night. You can also bring gifts of songs, music, offerings for the fire, what ever you feel inspired to give.
